Valve Service Technicians - Grande Prairie
Job Description
We are currently seeking team members for a full time Valve Service Technicians based out of our Grande Prairie location. We offer competitive industry wages, an excellent benefit program and RRSP matching program.
About You
- Reside or have accommodations in the Grande Prairie area (within 30 minutes of our shop)
- Required certifications; Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada
- Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions
MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES
- Service, inspection, assembly, and testing of valves
- Service, inspection, assembly and testing control valves
- Field service work as required
- Overtime when required
- Mechanically knowledgeable
- Basic machining experience
- Good computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Participate in daily safety meetings pertinent to the operations being conducted
- Keeping work area clean and tidy and help in maintenance of shop
- Communicate with base managers with problems or concerns
