Job Description

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to join our client, an employee‑owned general contractor based in Alberta, to lead a high‑profile First Nations administration building from early design through completion.

Responsibilities



  • Oversee full project lifecycle from preconstruction to completion

  • Manage consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams

  • Lead budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control

  • Drive client communication and stakeholder coordination

  • Ensure alignment between design intent, budget, and execution

  • Maintain safety, quality, and schedule performance

  • Support business development and client relationship growth

  • Mentor Project Coordinators and contribute to team development


Qualifications



  • General Contractor background only

  • Strong ICI base‑building experience

  • Full project lifecycle exposure

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience

  • Demonstrated stability and tenure

  • Experience in Construction Management delivery

  • CET preferred

  • Revit experience

  • Experience in both public and private sector projects

  • Alberta‑based or willing to relocate
