Role Summary
The Traffic Controller Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site traffic control operations and ensuring that vehicle flow is managed safely, efficiently, and professionally. This leadership role involves supervising traffic controllers, coordinating with operations management, and maintaining smooth traffic movement during peak hours, events, or high-volume periods.
The supervisor ensures that all team members follow company procedures, safety standards, and operational guidelines while maintaining a professional presence on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Traffic Controllers on site
- Ensure safe and efficient vehicle flow in designated traffic zones
- Provide clear direction and guidance to the traffic control team during shifts
- Monitor site operations and adjust team positioning based on traffic volume
- Ensure all safety protocols and operational procedures are followed
- Serve as the main point of contact between the on-site team and operations management
- Address operational issues, incidents, or safety concerns in a timely manner
- Support the training and onboarding of new Traffic Controllers
- Maintain professional communication with clients, drivers, and internal teams
- Ensure team members maintain professionalism and follow company standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in traffic control, operations supervision, or team leadership
