Frontline Traffic Services is a well-established traffic control company that has experienced significant growth in Nova Scotia and is now expanding into New Brunswick.Now one of the largest traffic control companies in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), we are opening a new office in Moncton, New Brunswick as part of our continued growth.We strive daily to provide our employees with an enjoyable workplace while delivering the highest level of service to our customers.



Were looking for reliable and hardworking people with experience in traffic control to join our team as Traffic Control Agents (TCAs). In this exciting role, you would be responsible for overseeing a team of Traffic Control Person(s) (TCPs) and working with a foreman/superintendent to establish a safe workplace for construction job sites around Moncton and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity to join our team at the start of our Moncton expansion, help establish our presence in the region, and build a long-term career with opportunities for growth as we continue to expand.



We offer:

  • Competitive wages starting at $20.00/hour for those with no drivers license or not in a driver role.
  • Wages starting at $21.50/hour for applicants who will also be responsible for operating our company vehicles.
    • Drivers must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract.

  • Most PPE will be supplied by the company.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Set-up safe work zones using traffic cones, barrels and barricades.
    • Plan detailed traffic control solutions based on customer needs and safe work practices.
    • Responsible for the safe passage of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists through work areas.
    • Monitor the safe work zones and correct compliance and personnel issues as they arise.
    • Communicate any incidents or hazards to the Site Supervisor.
    • Complete required administration and safety paperwork.
    • Ensure a safe work environment in accordance with all policies and procedures.
    • Follow instructions given by Site Foreman, Site Supervisor, and Management.


    Requirements:

    • Reliable and punctual.
    • Must be able to interpret both written and verbal instructions.
    • Great communication skills and willing to work in a diverse team environment.
    • Must be able to show leadership and good decision-making abilities.
    • Able to work outside in all weather conditions, often working long days.
    • Comfortable working near vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
    • Required ability to lift up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods of time.
    • Valid TCP Certification.
    • Valid TCA Certification.
    • Valid Class 5 License an asset.
