Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in changing tires, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves performing mobile tire-related services, maintenance, and repairs to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Prior tire changing experience is highly desirable, along with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. The Tire Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment
- Perform wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct routine maintenance checks related to tires and suspension systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out repairs efficiently
- Assist customers by explaining services needed and providing recommendations for tire care and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct heavy lifting of tires and wheels safely during service procedures
- Possess and maintain a clean driving record
- Keep accurate records of services performed for each vehicle
Skills
- Tire changing experience or mechanic background preferred, with solid automotive repair knowledge
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tire-changing equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety standards are met
- Ability to work independently
