Job description : Joining our fast growing business, the field technician will be responsible to install Thibaut stone working machinery and train the operator on how to properly use and maintain his equipment. He will be supporting the customers for technical support and hotline training assistance during the warranty period on those machine. Our field technician will also be asked to do punctual inspection, repair, maintenance or training on older machines located in his territory. Our equipment requires the following knowledge: Basic hydraulic Basic pneumatic Mechanical experience Rotating structures (bearings, worm wheels, etc…) Rail systems Electrical motors Sensors Electrical knowledge from 24V to 240V circuit Basic Automation applied to CNC The field technician will be required to travel away from home for at least 2 weeks per month.
Any additional week away will be by mutual agreement and will give the field technician a bonus harmonized with his actual paygrade. Between assignations, the field technician will be free to stay at home remaining available to answer occasional hotline request or technical support over the phone, via web connection or on a short term onsite visit. Salary: from 50,000$ Requirements: Valid driver license Permission to travel (Valid Passport) Electro-mechanic training or strong field experience Any experience of the manufacturing process is an asset Any experience in the stone working business is an asset
