Job Description
Join Forge Labs as a Technical Sales Manager and drive growth in Western Canada's largest industrial 3D printing operation. Lead technical sales initiatives, build client relationships, and work with cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies.
Drive revenue growth by building strong client relationships, providing technical expertise, and expanding our market presence in the industrial 3D printing sector.
Your Mission
- Exceed individual sales quota and contribute to overall company revenue growth targets.
- Build and maintain a robust sales funnel through effective prospecting and lead qualification.
- Drive new business development while maintaining and expanding existing client accounts.
Technical Guidance
- Provide expert technical guidance to clients on material selection, design optimization, and manufacturing processes.
- Work directly with 3D CAD files using software such as Fusion 360, Solidworks, and Rhino to assess project feasibility.
- Translate complex technical requirements into actionable manufacturing solutions.
- Manage all aspects of the sales process from initial inquiry through project completion and follow-up.
- Maintain detailed records in CRM systems to track client interactions, project status, and sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure client requirements are met and delivered on time.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within aerospace, automotive, medical device, and other industries.
- Represent Forge Labs at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities.
- Sales Experience: Minimum 1+ years of proven success in a sales role, preferably in manufacturing or technology sectors.
- 3D Printing Knowledge: Direct experience with 3D printing technologies, materials, and applications in professional environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Fusion 360, Solidworks, Rhino) and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- CRM Management: Experience managing customer relationships using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of aerospace, automotive, medical device, or similar manufacturing industries.
- Technical Education: Engineering, manufacturing, or related technical background.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills for client interactions and technical discussions.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client needs and market conditions.
