Position Overview:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, we are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role will support our continuously growing organization. Job Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales targets through the rental, sale and service of Aquatech’s equipment including pumps, pumping and dewatering systems, water filtration and treatment, as well as environmental monitoring equipment;
- Establishing new and maintain the strong and professional customer client relationships throughout the Southern Ontario Construction and Mining Industry with a large focus on the GTA.
- Evaluate and recommend dewatering, bypass and industrial pumping systems as well as water filtration/treatment systems to suit the customer’s needs
- Visit, daily, existing customers as well as new project sites to address any potential sales/service requirements
- Work with estimators, engineers and operations staff to address customer requirement and generate sales reports, proposals and quotations
- Keep abreast of and review/analyze industry reports on available tender sites and alike
- Participate in trade/professional shows and conferences as required to promote Aquatech
- Maintain open communications with customers for after-hours emergency responses and in accordance with Aquatech’s Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans
- Act in accordance with Aquatech’s Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems.
Qualifications and Required Experience
- Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in rental/sales of pumps, generators and pumping/dewatering systems
- Experience within waste water and working with municipalities is an asset
- Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in equipment purchase and rental or related field
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and negotiating skills
- Strong organizational, computer and time management skills
- Knowledge with Salesforce and/or other rental management programs an asset
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds frequently and on a daily basis
- Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and grasp
- Sporadic exposure to outdoor weather, shop and job site conditions
- This position requires regular travel throughout Southern Ontario regions
- Valid Class G Driver’s License, clean driver’s abstract
