Team Lead – IT M&A Integrations
Apply locations Vaughan, Ontario Toronto, Ontario time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R14749 The Team Lead ITI, IT M&A Integrations, requires an understanding of applications, IT infrastructure, integrating different IT products together and ultimately delivering those products to the end user. Background managing and driving projects along different verticals of IT is critical in this function. Excellent communication skills are key as the incumbent will need to communicate with multiple groups across the company. The incumbent will take on a lead role in small and medium sized integrations as well as support the IT Managers and the IT Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage integration efforts of new businesses into GFL’s overarching systems and processes
- Onsite visits for IT Discovery for potential acquisitions
- Assess, order, and plan deployment new employee workstations
- Assist infrastructure team to assess network infrastructure and assist in the ordering of hardware. Coordinate their deployment and integration alongside systems specialists
- Assist in developing and executing integration plans for new company systems and software
- Participate in integration plans for SCADA and plant SW and hardware solutions with the SME.
- Help ensure that business continuity is maintained during the integration process
- Drive escalations to resolution within the expected SLA’s and project timelines
- Lead deployment tasks related to account provisioning and asset management
- Coordinate with other verticals within the project team
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- College diploma or University degree in Business Technology Management, Business Information Systems, Information Technology Management, or related field of study
- 3-5 years’ work experience in IT Integration, IT Project Delivery, or a similar role
- Strong competency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong project management skills and asset management experience
- Some technical deployment experience is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional discretion is mandatory as the incumbent will be dealing with confidential information
- Customer Service oriented, with the ability to work well both in teams and independently
- Emotional intelligence and awareness to understand constituents in all areas of the business and respond to their needs
- Willing and able to travel throughout Canada and the US, including valid Driver’s License
