Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Applications Architect with deep expertise in Cúram software to lead large-scale business and I&IT transformation projects. This role is pivotal in architecting end-to-end solutions for case management systems supporting over 1,000 users. You will act as a technical lead, providing hands-on Java development while steering the architectural vision from current state to future state. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and scalable, secure technical implementations within a framework.
- Pay Rate: $700.91- $733.98/Diem

Responsibilities
- Solution Oversight: Review and provide technical guidance on IT designs to meet government standards. This includes environment analysis, prototype creation, and technology selection.
- Case Management Excellence: Lead the configuration, customization, and integration of large-scale Cúram or COTS implementations with external applications.
- Hands-on Development: Write high-quality Java code and utilize integration technologies (ESB, JEE) to build robust back-end services.
- Strategic Roadmap: Support leadership in developing roadmaps, transition plans, and researching emerging technologies like Microservices and DevOps.
- Governance & Standards: Establish development standards and design templates, performing thorough code reviews and ensuring compliance with Cyber Security standards (e.g., GO-ITS 25.0).
- Project Leadership: Lead innovation tracks (Explore, Prototype, Pilot, Rollout) and mentor technical team members to foster deep specialization.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional, distributed team to manage risks, resolve defects, and ensure high-speed innovation.
Qualifications
- Senior Architectural Experience: 7–10 years as an Applications Architect on projects involving 1,000+ users.
- Cúram Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience with Cúram software, including fit-gap analysis and design phases.
- Java/JEE Proficiency: Advanced experience writing Java code and using ESB, application servers, and web server technologies.
- Integration Expert: Proven track record in designing and implementing REST API integrations and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Methodology: Strong background in Agile development environments and leveraging architecture models for functional/non-functional requirements.
- Lead Capability: Proven experience as a technical lead, providing hands-on support and mentoring to other developers.
- Technical Advisement: Ability to provide recommendations on data conversion, infrastructure, reporting, and complex interfaces.
