JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of college grounds and working on a variety of maintenance projects. The incumbent will be expected to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, operate tools and equipment and contribute to a positive and safe work environment at all times.

Contract Dates: May-August 2026

Work Arrangement: Onsite in Medicine Hat, Alberta

We currently have 1 open opportunity for energetic and capable General Labour Summer Student to help our maintenance team in a fully supervised environment.

Key Responsibilities:

You will provide general labour support for our client locations, with respect to the maintenance and operations of their buildings.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Painting
Landscaping and weeding
Cleaning
Filing or other administrative duties

Essential Qualifications:

Good work ethic, punctual, and reliable
Reliable transport to and from work; travel to work locations once on site will be provided. Potential for carpooling
All safety equipment will be provided
Clean Drivers Abstract and Valid Driver's License

Work Hour Availability Requirements

8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Mon-Fri
Comfortable traveling with company vehicle - driver's license and drivers abstract is required
