What you will be doing:
- Consistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service
- Responsible for cleaning of dishes, cutlery, baking & buffet equipment
- Responsible for keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
- General cleaning - mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing, polishing
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Upkeep clean and sanitary conditions of dishwashing areas
- Working availability of a variety of shifts, including AM, PM & Overnights
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Must possess and maintain valid Food Safe certification
Physical aspects include but are not limited to:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
