Sr SAP Solutions Architect
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Solution Architect to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. This role is hybrid, minimum 3x week onsite. The Solution Architect is responsible for integrating enterprise systems end‑to‑end, connecting CRM and SAP, portals/eCommerce platforms, and related enterprise services to deliver seamless business capabilities. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will drive solution design and planning, guide delivery and governance alignment, and provide development optioning and cost estimates. This role will involve full‑stack development, integrations, cloud (AWS/Azure), APIs, and security, while improving engineering practices through DevSecOps initiatives (CI/CD, automated testing, QA, microservices, security) and occasionally supporting production incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within multidisciplinary teams that includes architects (Data, Enterprise, Software, Solution, Infrastructure, Cyber, Mobile and Cloud), subject matter experts (MD Dynamics CRM, SAP, Enovia) and the Project Manager.
- Drive the design and help with the planning, delivery and management of the solutions, including counseling on development options and costs estimations.
- Considering the enterprise governance and policies, you would be responsible to demonstrate the efficiency of the solutions to meat the business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve applications (Web and Mobile) using best business practices.
- Understand integrations between our main systems (SAP, CRM, Enovia, Data Lake, Cloud, etc) and leverage them in solutions.
- Participate in initiatives to improve our processes and tools associated to DevSecOps (CI/CD, automated tests, quality assurance, security, microservices, etc).
- Occasional participation in production support during incident.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of professional experience with a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT or related field.
- Five years' related experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in the integration of systems and DevSecOps tools.
- Knowledge of architectural concepts, including Cloud (AWS, Azure).
