Position Purpose: This position is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial analysis to PDC Management as needed including the process of weekly hourly payroll.

Requires ability to analyze and assist in preparing financial results of the operation(s). Accountabilities include preparing data and accruals for the month end process related to PDC Operations, analyzing capital projects, handling purchasing of office and warehouse supplies and processing accounts payable (receipts, payments and ledger analysis) within audit guidelines, maintaining and reconciling PDC general ledger accounts, following up on carrier claims, managing petty cash and assisting in Environmental Reporting and administrative functions of the department as needed. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Accounts payable which includes investing and process payments, check requests to the IBM AP Group and requests for vendor code set-up through IBM. Financial reporting which includes employee analysis, GL trending, capital tracking, safety reporting, productivity and energy usage tracking.

Payroll processing both hourly and salaried, payroll adjustments, maintenance of payroll registers, track absences and vacation requests, Operational Excellence Recognition (OER) tracking and safety incentive program administration. Miscellaneous financial activities which include balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable and carrier claim check posting, journal entries, account reconciliations, petty cash maintenance and fixed assets tracking and accounting. Administrative duties which include mail processing, ordering supplies, answer phone, set-up luncheons and other activities as assigned. Basic Requirements: 2 years of Accounting/Finance experience Additional Requirements: · Willingness and ability to work flexible work hours, especially during month and year end closing period, to ensure all time sensitive, month and year processes are completed accurately.
