Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join PacificSport's team as multisport Camp Leaders for our XploreSportZ Spring Break camps. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children in a sporting environment, fostering learning and fun. As a Camp Leader, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and memorable summer experience for campers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage groups of children during camp activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times
- Assist certified coaches with their lesson plans
- Foster a positive environment
- Maintain clear communication with parents and staff regarding camper behavior
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and report any incidents or concerns promptly
- Support the overall operation of the camp by assisting with setup, cleanup, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to lead activities confidently while maintaining a safe environment
- Must be at least 16 years old or older
- Valid First Aid is an asset
- A genuine passion for fostering positive experiences for children in a summer camp setting
Camps
Our XploreSportZ camps are for kids aged 7-12 years old operating out of the Tournament Capital Centre. Kids get to try 2 new sports a day, followed by an afternoon of swimming at TCC. Our camps run from March 16-21 and March Orientation is March 5th.
