I. PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe primary focus of this role is to execute the Canadian implementation of personalization in brand and loyalty (Choice Privileges) marketing and related efforts to increase new customers, guest engagement, loyalty and increased revenue for Choice Hotels Canada (“CHC”) franchised hotels. This individual acts as a key liaison between internal departments and with Choice Hotels International (“CHI”). This position plays a role in the evolution, expansion and success of digital and online performance to build consumer affinity to Choice Hotels brands in Canada.  II. KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES·      Produce and execute all personalization campaigns, including email, mobile app and push notification/SMS campaigns—responsibilities to include copywriting, asset coordination, templates/HTML management, testing/quality assurance (QA) testing and scheduling·      Work collaboratively and cross-departmental to optimize content, creative and templates based on industry best practices·      Provide regular campaign performance reports that include opens, clicks, conversions, revenue, revenue lift, unsubscribes, etc.·      Regularly identify trends and email marketing strategies from other leading global brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including collaborating on audits of how we can acquire, nurture and retain these customers·      Manage and execute personalization marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, and internal stakeholders·      Constantly look for new ways to improve overall programs through new technology, tools, partners, trends, and best practices·      Perform related duties and/or responsibilities as required or assigned.III.

SKILLS, EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE ·      Post-secondary education with a degree or diploma in marketing, loyalty or related field·      Web analytics, HTML/CSS, A/B Testing, and other CMS/content management, intermediate experience with CRM technology·      3-5 years of experience in loyalty marketing, promotions and B2B and B2C marketing communications·      Passionate about building enduring customer relationships·      Solid analytical and research skills with ability to interpret data to develop results-driven marketing plans·      Mature business acumen with demonstrated project management and confident interpersonal skills to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders·      Excellent communication and presentation skills, and adaptable writing skills·      Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (desktop and cloud)·      Previous experience with franchise organization and French language are definite assetsIV.
