Job Description:

The S&OP+ Lead role works as the strategic partner for the unit leadership to drive a holistic linkage of the enterprise OGSM’s deployment in-year by owning the signature S&OP+ process.

What are we looking for?


  • Undergrad or MBA or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years business experience with 3+ years of Business and Financial Planning and/or financial investment experience
  • Track record of success in at least 2 of the following 3 areas: Demand functions (Marketing, Sales); Supply functions (Operations, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Purchasing, Logistics); Support functions (Finance, Personnel). Experience in planning role (business planning or financial investment planning) in 1 of these areas is a prerequisite
  • Strong analytical capabilities and in-depth understanding of business/financial interrelationships between marketing/sales strategies, pricing, volumes, and cost structure. Understanding of basic internal financial measures such as earnings and Cash flow.
  • Analysis and Evaluation of Business Activities – Advanced expertise in Trend Analysis, financial modelling and variance analysis, ROI evaluation and KPI/Metrics management through corporate dashboards etc.
  • Training in Sales and Operations planning process
  • Clearly demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience evaluating the performance of the business and what levers should be pulled to drive performance
  • Well-developed organization skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Proven analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution and implement change.
  • Must have a high degree of self-direction with the ability to constantly seek innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Must be proactive, high energy, detailed-oriented when appropriate, results-oriented and willing to initiate and nurture change.

What will be your key responsibilities?


S&OP+

  • Overarching facilitator of the entire S&OP+ process for the local business and key market representative to the NA Regional processes. Governs existing S&OP+ in accordance with agreed processes & principles
  • Step 5 (MBR) Facilitator: Prepares agenda and facilitates decision making by the CPLT and develops escalation cases to raise to the Regional S&OP process
  • Proactively managing any risks & opportunities through effective and collaborative communication with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
  • To ensure business ability to identify and react to changes in planned performance and in the competitive environment

Integrated business planning and coordination

  • Maintaining a 360-degree view of the organization and tight-knit relationships to be able to provide context and perspective on organizational problems. Utilize strong leadership skills to build, maintain and promote positive working relationships within local unit cross-functional areas.
  • To develop the high performing team collaboration to facilitate empowered, team based decision making
  • To promote managing through systems and processes across the business

Change management


  • To lead critical projects for the enterprise, developing and leading the change program, to enable positive project outcomes.

Enterprise Perspective / Collaboration / Influence

  • To act with overall enterprise objectives and foster collective and sound problem solving and decision making
