*Resource Responsibilities:*
* As a Solution Architect, you will define and develop solution architecture diagrams, different viewpoints, models, matrices and design documentation for implementation projects that supports the most efficient, reliable, scalable, and secure solutions to meet the business needs and technology strategy.
* This includes planning, evaluating, recommending and designing products and architectural solutions in compliance with corporate and IT strategies, legislative requirements, policies, standards, architecture principles, patterns and reference architectures.
* The Solution Architect will build a cohesive, future forward solution that leverages enterprise technology assets and best practices using modern software development, deployment and operations principles.
Leads and facilitates the design and implementation of repeatable technical solutions and processes related to technology solution architecture.
*Resource Profile:*
* Overall 10+ years in design, development, and architecture of multi-tier systems – preferably within Insurance.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText solutions Design and Development.
* 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies and deploying solution in cloud.
* 5+ years of experience with design of solutions with complex integration requirements.
* 5+ years of experience in working with multi-stakeholder solutions (technology vendors, in-house technology stakeholders and lines of businesses)
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with solutions and projects involving large data migration
*Knowledge & Skills:*
* Solution Architect must have experience in all functions of software development life cycle and a strong understanding of Insurance industry, Digital Document/Content Management, OpenText solutions, and of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages, relational databases, message queues, web services and legacy systems.
* Possesses skills and knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies and processes such as distributed, and cross-platform program communication.
* Strong understanding of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages, relational databases, message queues, web services and legacy systems is a must
* Hands on experience in producing Architectural artefacts at conceptual, logical and physical levels
* Excellent communication skills
* Insurance background with Guidewire experience is highly desirable
