As a Social Media Strategist, you’ll work alongside a brilliant team to manage the content and social strategy for one of the world’s foremost automotive brands. Your previous agency experience coupled with your passion for content marketing makes you an ideal candidate to help our team execute – from ideation and strategy through to planning and implementation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and manage a cohesive social strategy to achieve marketing objectives
• Collaborate with copy and design teams to execute original content across various social channels
• Contribute insights and ideas to inform monthly content creation
• Oversee daily social media posting and maintenance
• Monitor user activity and respond as needed
• Mange social channel / community activity
• Track and analyze the social activities of competitors and similar brands
• Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations for future optimizations
• Liaise with other areas of the business to support national and regional campaigns
• Stay up to date on best practices and trends within social media & content marketing
• Facilitate a strong relationship with the internal team, client, and partners

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a Social Media Specialist or Strategist role
• Must have 3+ Years of experience in the Canadian or US market
• Degree in marketing or equivalent 
• Proven work experience with managing a brand’s social media or content strategy
• Familiarity with social metrics, social listening, web analytics tools, and data-driven insights
• Experience collaborating with media agencies
• Interest in premium and luxury brands
• Automotive experience is an asset (a passion for automotive is also welcomed)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift to meet market demands / client requests as needed
• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
• Exceptional written & verbal communication skills in English
• Strong presentation skills and ability to contribute to team and client discussions
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic to work within a team environment
• A genuine passion for marketing strategy
