Site Superintendent – Multi-Family Residential Construction

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced
Superintendent
to oversee the site operations of a multi-family residential project in Vancouver. This includes full responsibility for on-site coordination from excavation through to occupancy. The ideal candidate has experience delivering low- to mid-rise wood-frame or mixed-use buildings and is confident managing schedules, trades, and safety compliance on active job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily site operations, including supervision of trades and coordination with consultants and the internal project team
• Maintain construction schedule and proactively address delays or site challenges
• Ensure site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Conduct site meetings, inspections, and quality control checks
• Collaborate with Project Manager on procurement, reporting, and construction progress updates
• Ensure timely occupancy and successful project turnover

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in site supervision or construction leadership roles
• Proven experience with multi-family wood-frame and/or mid-rise developments
• Strong knowledge of BC Building Code, WorkSafe BC regulations, and construction best practices
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam
• Red Seal Carpentry or other relevant trade certification is an asset

Compensation:
Competitive, commensurate with experience (higher range available for qualified candidates)
