About Us: Curran Heavy Truck and Equipment Repair is a full-service Heavy Duty Repair Facility that has proudly served the Durham region and Northumberland county for 30 years. We provide routine preventative maintenance, running repairs and major overhauls to all makes of trucks and heavy equipment. We also provide mobile on-site Road/Field service for our regular clients.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor to lead our team at our Whitby location. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure quality service delivery, and support our team of Technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians and support staff.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of parts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the shop.
  • Qualifications
  • 310T or earlier 310A COQ
  • Proven management and supervisory experience in a heavy truck shop.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience with inventory management is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
