Course Description
An introduction to economic analysis and its applications: price determination, market structure, decision making by individuals and firms, public policy. NOTE: extensive use of graphical and quantitative analysis.

Minimum qualifications
- PhD in Economics
- Prior experience teaching this course (or a similar course) at the university level
- Ability and experience teaching large classes
Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching over four or more years
Description of duties
- Preparation and delivery of lectures in this course
- Supervision of teaching assistant(s) assigned to course
- Preparation, supervision and grading of tests and examinations in accordance with University regulations
- Providing scheduled office hours for academic counseling of students
