Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to ensure your success. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas and service stations
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and resetting tables for new guests
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling menu items and providing exceptional customer service
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating hospitality and guest service expertise
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience can be beneficial but is not required
