Server/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing food and beverage orders. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests, handling cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the restaurant, providing menus and answering any questions about the menu items.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Process cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in restocking supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $2,758.33 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
