Senior Software Developer – ETL– Job DescriptionResponsible for designing, developing, and implementing an ingestion framework from Oracle source to Azure Data LakeThis role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilitiesThe Software Developer – ETL – Senior will be responsible for reviewing requirements, database tables, and relationships, identifying gaps and inefficiencies in the current production reporting environment, and providing recommendations to address themTasked with the development of ETL strategy and solution, performance review, data consistency checks, and end-to-end integrated testing for full load and incremental loadThe role also involves planning for Go Live, production deployment, and providing Go Live support and reviewThe successful candidate will also be responsible for knowledge transfer to Ministry staff and the development of documentation on the work completedSenior Software Developer – ETL– Mandatory Skills7 years of experience working with SQL Server, ADF, and T-SQL Development, building databases, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart, and working with delta / incremental and full loadsThey must also have experience with ETL tools such as SQL Server, ADF, Cloud tools, and working with MSSQL Server on-premises and within Azure Environment7 years of experience in ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS, stored procedures2 years of experience with Azure Data Lake and Data Warehouse, and building Azure Data Factory pipelinesSenior Software Developer – ETL- Preferred Skills2 years of experience with Python, Databricks, and SynapseExperience with SQL Server, Oracle, and the ability to present technical requirements to the businessSenior Software Developer – ETL- Assignment Start Date ASAP – 6 months to start Senior Software Developer – ETL- Assignment Location Toronto, ON – Work Hybrid
