Advise customers on appropriate merchandise and related items; processing transactions (cash, credit card, debit card) using retail software; ticketing and replenishing merchandise, cycle counting; general housekeeping of shelves, loss prevention, merchandising, restocking and staying current with trends in the industry:</strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>Ability to work effectively and productively with others as a team</li><li>Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills</li><li>Maintain a positive working relationship with our team</li><li>Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product line</li><li>Meet established goals as set by management</li><li>Assisting with minor resets and cross merchandising as necessary</li><li>Accurately complete order information, collect deposits and fees, keep orderly customer records, and research customer payments and deliveries Job Requirements</li><li>Minimum 2 years in the building supplies industry</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Working knowledge in the use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel</li><li>Ability to work store hours as well as weekends is a must</li></ul></p>Company Description<p>Home Hardware Building Centres offer a complete range of both hardware and building centre products.
