Consor is currently looking for a Senior Roadway Design Engineer for our Mississauga, Ontario office. As a dynamic and growing engineering consulting firm, Consor is full of opportunities for career development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This position supports all aspects of roadway design projects; prepares roadway schematics & models; performs roadway analysis & engineering calculations; develops plans, specifications & estimates; prepares technical engineering reports; performs construction management for roadway projects.
Required Credentials
- Requires Bachelor’s Degree and PE.
- 7 plus years of experience designing roadways and highways.
- Experience preparing plans, specifications & estimates (PS&E).
- Experience preparing technical reports, specifications & cost estimates.
- Familiarity with Departments of Transportation or MOT.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with the following software suites: MicroStation, Open Roads and/or GEOPAK.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Open Roads.
- Experience working with MOT.
