Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Our client is seeking a contract Senior Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of enterprise initiatives spanning business process redesign, system implementations, infrastructure modernization, and cybersecurity projects within a complex, mission-critical airport environment.

Location: Hybrid 3d/week Mississauga

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional initiatives across business process redesign, enterprise system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity projects
• Manage full project lifecycle including charter, scope, schedule, budget, RAID log, governance reporting, and executive updates
• Deliver infrastructure modernization initiatives (network upgrades, cloud migrations, end-user computing, platform refresh, data center initiatives)
• Oversee cybersecurity-related projects including remediation, vulnerability management, IAM enhancements, audit findings, and compliance initiatives
• Facilitate business process redesign workshops and translate operational requirements into structured delivery plans
• Coordinate across business stakeholders, IT teams, security, infrastructure, vendors, and external partners
• Manage third-party vendors and systems integrators, ensuring delivery accountability and SLA adherence
• Ensure minimal disruption to 24/7 mission-critical operations within a complex airport environment
• Operate within established PMO governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Provide clear executive-level reporting and steering committee updates

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise IT and transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated experience managing mixed portfolios spanning process, systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity projects
• Strong experience with infrastructure and cloud modernization initiatives
• Experience delivering system implementations and enterprise integrations
• Exposure to cybersecurity programs, remediation efforts, or compliance-driven initiatives
• Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments (aviation, transportation, public sector, utilities, etc.) preferred
• Strong understanding of SDLC, infrastructure lifecycles, and risk management frameworks
• Proven ability to manage mid-to-large project budgets ($500K–$5M+ preferred)
• PMP certification preferred
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
