Position Purpose
The Senior Partnerships Manager leads client relationship management for large capital ministries and serves as the primary point of contact for designated ministry partners. The role develops and implements strategies that strengthen and standardize IO’s client relationships, ensuring alignment, responsiveness, and effective collaboration across IO business lines. This position provides strategic advice and hands‑on support throughout all project stages, including early project development, government interactions, approvals, and delivery.
What You Will Do
- Act as the primary contact for designated large capital ministries, coordinating responses to priorities, requests, and direction.
- Lead strategic advisory services, facilitating internal alignment and preparing materials for ministry briefings and government decision‑making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior ministry officials, agencies, and key stakeholders to advance organizational objectives.
- Identify and resolve issues early, intervening with ministries staff as needed to prevent escalation and support effective issue‑management.
- Provide training, tools, and education to IO teams on government relations, client engagement etiquette, and partnership processes.
- Mentor Partnerships Managers to support development and ensure strong backup for large capital ministry engagements.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in government or a public‑sector agency, with strong knowledge of public‑sector decision‑making processes.
- Exceptional relationship‑building skills with senior officials and external stakeholders.
- Strong diplomacy, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues and competing priorities.
- Ability to interpret direction from ministries and translate it into actionable steps that align IO teams and drive outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing materials for executive and government audiences.
- University degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field; a Master’s degree is considered an asset.
- High attention to detail, adaptability, strong political acumen, and a client‑centric mindset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $135,000 to $165,000 (P6 Level). Pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
