In your role, you will
• You will develop, manage, and activate strategic planning initiatives and budget for marketing brand activities in the Americas (i.e., industry events, advertising, sponsorships, media outreach and customer newsletters, etc.) to increase brand awareness and sales interest for Bombardier and its products, working closely with regional sales team
• You will drive the strategy in support to the US Service Centres as well as support the local General Manager of the sites
• You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications teams from Montreal Headquarters to ensure cohesion of marketing efforts and regionalizing relevant content, sharing pertinent information with regional sales team
• You will actively support marketing, communications, and sales requests for translations of sales briefings, website content, collateral and videos working closely with a regional agency for activation and implementation
• You will independently coordinate on large and medium-scaled events, from overseeing logistics, securing venue, managing guest list, coordinating with vendors, creating content and onsite event support
• You will support regional sales team with bespoke customer and prospect experiences (i.e., demonstration flights, hospitality events, merchandising, and other ad hoc requests)
• You will provide regular, timely and factual reports to Director, to monitor progress and measure ROI
• You will accurately forecast and manage budget expenditures related to all regional marketing activities
• You will maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials (physical and digital) making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed
• You will proactively nurture and build relationships with suppliers, venues, and other industry contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects for marketing strategy
• You will provide recommendations and in tools to optimize brand awareness and sales objectives in region
• You will become the expert and person of reference for market intel as it pertains to the Americas, main contact for North American Sales Team (Sales Directors and Regional Vice President of Sales) and regional agency to support selling environment in region
Bombardier is looking for someone passionate about marketing and events, who will work to enhance the brand in the Americas supporting regional sales objectives. A successful candidate will be experienced in regional marketing strategy, event management and digital marketing activation, working closely with the regional sales and marketing teams.
The Regional Marketing Advisor, Americas will report into the Marketing Director and will be based in USA.
As our ideal candidate
• You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business/marketing/communications
• You have 8+ years Marketing, Advertising and/or Sales experience in aviation and/or luxury good marketing
• You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), French and Spanish would be an asset
• You have a solid understanding of brand strategy
• You must be able to work independently, as well as part of a cross functional marketing team
• You have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, applying a methodological approach and diligently managing timelines and budgets, communicating regularly to maintain momentum and mitigate risks
• You have great organizational, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills coupled with a creative mindset
• You have strong interpersonal skills and professional presence necessary to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders
• You have the availability and confidence to travel independently regionally and internationally, potentially to less travelled locations. A certain amount of physical or repetitive work may be required in some cases.
