The Role

We're hiring
three Senior Machine Learning Engineers
to design, train, and deploy advanced AI models that power our next-generation agriculture technologies.

In this role, you'll
lead or co-lead AI development
for one or more of SGA's flagship products, including:

• 3D Grain Bin Fill Volume Measurement (AI-Bin)
• Fungicide Application & Management (AI-FHB)
• Hail & Wildlife Damage Assessment (AI-Wildlife)
• Crop Yield Forecasting
• Field Boundary Detection & Analysis

You'll play a key role in
turning cutting-edge research into real-world solutions
that farmers, insurers, and governments rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the
  design, development, and deployment
  of ML models and algorithms.
• Analyze and preprocess large-scale datasets to build robust, efficient training pipelines.
• Implement and optimize
  computer vision
  ,
  deep learning
  , and
  geospatial AI
  models.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deploy models into production.
• Evaluate, benchmark, and refine model performance for
  accuracy, scalability, and reliability
  .
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for ML research and deployment.
• Stay at the forefront of
  AI, ML, computer vision, and geospatial analytics
  innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in
  Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics
  , or related field (
  Ph.D. preferred
  ).
• 5+ years of industry experience
  developing and deploying ML models at scale.
• Proven track record in
  AI-driven, high-impact projects or products
  .
• Proficiency in
  Python
  and frameworks such as
  PyTorch
  ,
  TensorFlow
  , or
  JAX
  .
• Strong understanding of
  ML algorithms
  ,
  statistics
  , and
  large-scale data pipelines
  .
• Hands-on experience with
  computer vision, transformers, or spatiotemporal modeling
  .
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Publications in top-tier conferences (
  CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, AAAI
  ) are a strong asset.

Compensation & Growth

• Salary range:
  $90,000 – $180,000 CAD per year, based on experience and seniority.
