<h2>Senior Loads and Aeroelastics Engineer</h2> <p>Location: Lindsay, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)<br> Employment Type: Full-time<br> Salary Range: CAD 165,000 – 210,000 gross/year</p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>A senior-level Loads and Aeroelastics Engineer is sought to lead the analysis and validation of structural loads and aeroelastic behaviour for advanced hybrid eVTOL aircraft.</p> <p>This role is critical to ensuring structural integrity, flight safety, and certification compliance across the full operational envelope. You will analyze aerodynamic and inertial forces under a wide range of flight and ground conditions, directly supporting aircraft design, control integration, and regulatory approval. Working in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will influence both technical decisions and engineering processes.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li> <p>Perform static and dynamic loads analysis across all flight phases, including takeoff, landing, transition, hover, and ground operations</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop, validate, and maintain aeroelastic models to assess flutter, divergence, and control surface effectiveness</p> </li> <li> <p>Generate loads spectra and load envelopes to support structural sizing, fatigue, and durability analysis</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate closely with aerodynamics, flight controls, and structural engineering teams to ensure accurate loads definition and feedback integration</p> </li> <li> <p>Support control law design and tuning with aeroelastic stability considerations</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct sensitivity studies, load alleviation analyses, and correlation with flight test and simulation data</p> </li> <li> <p>Act as a technical integrator between engineering disciplines and project management</p> </li> <li> <p>Apply and enforce applicable standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements</p> </li> <li> <p>Drive rigor, resilience, and continuous improvement in engineering design and analysis methods</p> </li> <li> <p>Stay current with advances in loads, aeroelasticity, and aerospace engineering practices</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and delivery performance</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li> <p>7+ years of experience in loads, aeroelasticity, or related engineering roles within aerospace or automotive environments</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven experience across multiple phases of the product lifecycle (concept, development, testing, certification)</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong background in structural loads analysis and aeroelastic modelling techniques</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on experience with systems engineering principles is an advantage</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with eVTOL certification frameworks (TCCA, FAA, EASA) is highly desirable</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work effectively in complex, fast-moving, multidisciplinary engineering teams</p> </li> </ul> <h3>Whats Offered</h3><ul><li> <p>Competitive senior-level compensation package</p> </li> <li> <p>No fixed holiday cap</p> </li> <li> <p>Competitive group benefits plan</p> </li> <li> <p>Company stock purchase program</p> </li> <li> <p>Hybrid work options</p> </li> <li> <p>Opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace and eVTOL programs</p> </li> </ul>Create Your Resume First
