Senior Legal Assistant – Business LawThis well-established downtown Montréal law firm is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant to support its Business Law practice. You will join a structured environment with clear processes, a stable team, and a balanced workload (supporting 1 to 3 partners), all within a respectful, hybrid, and long-term work setting.

Responsibilities:
• Draft, revise, format, and transcribe a variety of legal documents (correspondence, agreements, opinions, articles, etc.).
• Compare documents using specialized tools (e.g., Workshare).
• Manage calls, emails, printing, and follow up with clients and colleagues.
• Organize meetings, travel, meals, and conferences (logistics, registrations, reimbursements).
• Open, file, archive, and maintain physical and electronic files (binders, NBI, OnePlace).
• Work closely with lawyers and internal departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
What you will need to succeed:
• Diploma in Legal Techniques, Office Administration, or equivalent.
• 7 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally in Business Law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Workshare, OnePlace, and NBI (an asset).
• Strong sense of organization, discretion, accuracy, and autonomy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bilingual in French and English, required for drafting documents and communicating with clients and colleagues.
