Senior HRIS Analyst

We are seeking a collaborative, proactive / with initiative and highly skilled Senior HRIS Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing on the enhancement and optimization of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Payroll system using Ceridian Dayforce. You will serve as a solution domain expert, supporting the discovery, design, configuration, documentation, testing and post-implementation of all HR and Payroll system enhancements.

Responsibilities:


1. Systems Advisor:


– Act as a Dayforce SME by understanding system implications, identifying gaps / opportunities, and recommending system solutions for adoption

Effectively partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits and Operational stakeholders to meet evolving business requirements

– Gather requirements design, configure and test system solutions to improve the Dayforce experience

– Document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases, ensuring clear communication between business users and the development team.



2. System Implementation and Integration:

– Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to design and lead system enhancements, customizations, and integrations with other enterprise systems.

– Identify issues / risks

– Provide support during system deployment and post-implementation phases to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption by actively monitoring and maintaining the system.

Data Reporting and Analytics:

– Analyze HR and Payroll data to generate valuable insights and identify trends, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions.

– Develop and maintain simple to complex reports Utilizing Dayforce and additional data sources to deliver clear, insightful reports and dashboards.

– Own the full cycle of building, maintaining and rolling out reports to end users



4. Compliance and Security:

– Ensure the HRIS and Payroll system’s compliance with relevant data privacy regulations, industry standards, and internal security policies.

– Proactively monitor and mitigate potential data integrity and security risks within the system.


5. Training and Support:


– Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality, ensuring effective system utilization.

– Serve as a point of contact for system-related inquiries and issue resolution.


Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.


– Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on HRIS and Payroll systems, preferably in medium to large-sized organizations.

– Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes, data structures, and best practices.


– Familiarity with popular HRIS and Payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP) and their modules.

– Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.


– Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you’re organized and great at ensuring everyone’s on the same page

– Takes initiative – being proactive, having a strong personal accountability for high quality work and continuous improvement mindset.

– Comfortable working within a fast paced and high growth environment and excitement to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all parts of the Dayforce operations / HR / payroll function
