<p><strong>Role: Senior Frontend Developer (Cornerstone JS)</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Toronto, Canada (Onsite) </strong></p><p><strong>Duration: Fulltime / Contract</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Description:</strong></p><p>The Senior Software Developer is responsible for creating clean, modern, scalable, secure, and maintainable code for SaaS based web products. The successful candidate will join a team building our Zero-Footprint Viewer leveraging cornerstone.js. They have a strong technical ability, great communication skills, and are motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Reports to: Software Development Manager </p><p>Job Level: Individual Contributor </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Architect, design, develop and test new software</p><p>• Stay current in technologies and software development practices, assisting leadership in researching and recommending new technologies</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to build high quality software</p><p>• Communicate with software users to design technical solutions to business problems</p><p>• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system</p><p>• Create unit and integration tests for implemented projects and bug fixes</p><p>• Perform requirements analysis and update requirements and design documentation based on actual project implementation</p><p>• Review and update internal tracking systems regularly</p><p>• Assist and advise Support department as needed to assist with customer issues</p><p>• Mentor other team members based on area of expertise</p><p>• Establish development patterns</p><p>• Review team members code/projects and communicate areas for improvements</p><p>• Assist and participate in check-ins and performance reviews</p><p>• Perform other related duties as required</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>• You have experience creating a medical image viewer like OHIF using cornerstone.js/cornerstone3D</p><p>• ReactJS & JavaScript skills</p><p>• Web programming and knowledge of browser standards</p><p>• Experience consuming/using RESTful APIs</p><p>• Solid understanding of DICOM, web standards</p><p>• Extensive experience with mission critical, 24x7, Tier-1 services</p><p>• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly evolving, tech start-up environment</p><p>• Experience contributing to a collaborative, dynamic, and diverse team</p><p><br></p><p>You will REALLY stand out if you also have following</p><p>• Prior experience creating radiology / cardiology Image viewers</p><p>• Delivered an application with a micro-frontend architecture</p><p>• Experience writing automated tests</p><p>• Experience leading a team or mentoring other engineers</p><p></p>
