This is a great opportunity to work for a young and dynamic company!</p><p>We are currently looking for a <strong>Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting</strong> to join our team</p><p><strong>What you can expect in this role:</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Reporting will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the financial statements, MD&A, month-end close process, as well as process improvements, SOX compliance, and other special projects.</p><p></p><p><strong>More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS as well as related management discussion and analysis; (30%)</li><li>Actively participate in the preparation of the month-end close process, including general ledger reconciliations and variance analyses; (20%)</li><li>Proactively coordinate with the team and an external audit firm all work required for quarterly reviews and year-end audits (15%)</li><li>Researching and documenting the Company&#39;s accounting policies in accordance with IFRS (15%)</li><li>Assist in testing of internal control processes and systems; (10%)</li><li>Assist in other special projects, such as financing, systems <span >implementations/integrations,</span> ad hoc reporting requirements; (10%).</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Here&#39;s the profile we&#39;re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>CPA designation.</li><li>4+ years experience involving the preparation/review of IFRS financial statements for public company and/through audit experience at accounting firm, Big Four experience is an asset.</li><li>Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and relevant experience with an accounting software.</li><li>Excellent written English skills for the preparation of financial statements.</li><li>Strong work ethic and sense of ownership, good problem-solving skills, resourceful, flexibility and adaptability, team player but also able to work independently in changing environment.</li><li>Bilingual (verbal and written proficiency) – French/English, knowledge of Spanish also considered an asset.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>A few more relevant details:</strong></p><ul><li>Work schedule: Monday to Friday, </li><li>Hybrid 3 times per week in office.</li><li>Job type: full-time, permanent</li></ul><p>We are excited to hear from you, so please apply!</p><p>This job doesn&#39;t align to your experience?
