Job Description:
Our client is a leading General Contracting firm providing construction project management to retail, commercial, and office clients, specializing in the construction and renovation of retail and office spaces. They have established a strong presence in ICI projects across the Greater GTA region. The company upholds core values that are reflected in their work and relationships.

The position offers competitive base compensation ranging from $125K to $150K based on experience, along with an employee bonus plan and benefits. Responsibilities:
- Ensure a smooth and efficient estimating process, exceeding client expectations throughout the project.
- Review all details to guarantee completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all submitted quotes, capturing the project scope and required trades.
- Thoroughly review project specifications, such as RFPs, drawings, insurance requirements, and addendums to understand project scope, trades, and timelines.
- Participate in bid site walks to grasp project scope and collect on-site data for precise estimates.
- Timely distribution of drawings and project specifications to subcontractors for accurate proposals.
- Supervise and mentor Junior Estimators and future members of the estimating team.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience leading an estimating team for ICI projects valued at $1M and above.
- Demonstrated track record of successful project awards.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex plans and produce accurate estimates.
- Attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple estimating projects concurrently.
- Ability to multitask, oversee direct reports, and negotiate subcontractor pricing.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices, materials, and processes.
- Experience in managing direct reports and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in PlanSwift and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel to job sites within the Greater Toronto Area for estimate completion.
