Senior Enterprise Cloud Architect
Location: Toronto downtown (Hybrid: 3 days a week on-site)
Type: Permanent Full-time
Compensation: $120,000 – 140,000 per year, in addition to impressive bonus structure, great benefits, pension and more
As a Senior Enterprise Azure Architect within our financial industry client’s Enterprise Architecture team, you’ll be responsible for establishing and driving cloud architecture approaches, ensuring adherence to best practices and frameworks. You’ll lead the development and implementation of a policy-driven cloud governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Governance Framework: Develop and enhance cloud governance practices, modernizing policies, technology, and compliance elements.
- Cloud Governance Practice: Implement governance elements across cloud environments, ensuring adherence to disciplines such as cost management, security, and identity.
- Cloud Solution Architecture: Lead the development of cloud solution roadmaps and architectures, ensuring designs align with secure application environments and integration patterns.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business, IT stakeholders, and project management teams to prioritize and deliver value.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Azure certifications preferred.
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 6 years of hands-on cloud architecture experience.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or regulatory organizations.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud Adoption or similar frameworks.
- Expertise in Power Platform best practices, governance, and related solutions.
- Experience with Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, and ARM templates.
- Experience with Power Platform, Power Apps is a bonus
- Strong understanding of cloud native architecture and security principles.
- Understanding of TOGAF, Zachman enterprise architecture principles
