Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Markham, ON, for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The professional in this role will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and reviewing electrical designs, overseeing power distribution systems, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Collaboration with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders is central to the role to ensure project objectives are successfully met.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering
In-depth knowledge of Electricity, Power Systems, and Power Distribution
Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
Effective problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail in technical documentation
Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada is strongly preferred
Experience managing engineering projects in the electrical field
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and clients
