<h3>About The Role</h3>
<p>We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who loves ownership, automation, and impact to directly power a fast-growing product. In this role, you’ll design resilient, high-performing systems and raise the bar on reliability, security, and observability across the platform.</p>
<p>You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, data, testing, and security, partnering closely with teams to streamline deployments, strengthen compliance, and respond decisively to critical issues when they matter most. From building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to applying best-in-class DevOps practices, you’ll have the autonomy to shape how we build and operate in the cloud. <h3>What You’ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Own and scale ZayZoon’s AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security.</li>
<li>Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, build CI/CD pipelines and manage existing infrastructure stacks.</li>
<li>Optimize our PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance.</li>
<li>Improve monitoring and observability, ensuring detection and proactive resolution of issues.</li>
<li>Design secure, scalable cloud services in AWS compliant with SOC-2 and cybersecurity standards.</li>
<li>Evaluate and remediate critical and high CVEs across all services on a moment’s notice.</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally across multiple teams such as development, data, testing, and security to convey concepts, build understanding and improve deployment processes.</li>
<li>Apply DevOps best practices across all projects.</li>
</ul>
<h3>You Bring</h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience in AWS or GCP.</li>
<li>3+ years of experience with Python or equivalent high-level language (Go, Ruby, etc).</li>
<li>Knowledge of Bash and Structured Query Language (SQL).</li>
<li>Experience with CloudFormation to provision and maintain infrastructure, or experience in other IaC tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or equivalent.</li>
<li>Experience with CloudWatch and Elastic Container Services (ECS) running on Fargate, with CodePipeline and native deployments.</li>
<li>Experience building efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or an equivalent.</li>
<li>Ability to deep dive into CloudWatch, CloudTrail logging and other logging tooling, such as Athena, to get to the bottom of a problem.</li>
<li>Experience migrating compute from Intel to ARM architecture.</li>
</ul>
