BRIEF INTRODUCTION:


The Senior Business Analyst contributes to the overall success of the National Sales Management team ensuring specific individual goals, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the business’ strategies and objectives.
They are responsible for effectively and efficiently managing several policies and procedures regarding core ScotiaMcLeod programs related to compensation and performance reporting.

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU:
In this role you will:

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Manage multiple processes and programs, provide day-to-day operational support, and ensure the service provided continues to meet the business need with the utmost efficiency.
  • Assume end-to-end ownership of projects and responsibility for the related project deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by studying current practices as it relates to Sales Management and ScotiaMcLeod Advisor teams and assist with the design and development of solutions to meet ongoing business needs while demonstrating adaptability, agility, and ability to manage constant change through innovation.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture is considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
  • DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS
    We would love to work with you if you have:

  • Must have good knowledge of wealth management concepts, financial instruments.
  • Business Degree & Canadian Securities Course (CSC) preferred.
  • Knowledge of back-office processes; brokerage operational processes and end to end workflows an asset.
  • Knowledge of Broadridge, AS400, MS Access/VBA, SQL, Visual Studio, .NET Framework preferred.
  • Must be a proactive, organized, self-starting, results-oriented and highly motivated individual
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and analytical skills and great attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills to effectively work with stakeholders, partners and senior management.
