Job Description:

As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Controller in managing the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and analyzing reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You are comfortable working collaboratively across departments and take pride in delivering timely, accurate financial information that supports strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include:

Oversee financial accounting, cost accounting internal control and KPI reporting

Assist, where required, on the annual budget

Prepare supporting account schedules and reconciliations

Cash flow tracking and bank reconciliations

Job Requirements:

Required Skills:

CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA preferred

Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (ASPE or IFRS)

Experience with ERP systems, with a strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
