Job Description
A coordinator oversees their Tetra chapter – promoting Tetra to people with disabilities (often via other service providers), recruiting and overseeing volunteers and marketing Tetra to potential funders and supporters. For this position we are looking for someone in or near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
We ask coordinators for up to 12-15 hours per month. All out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed and they receive $300 a month.
The primary role of the position is networking: contacting possible volunteers, clients, community groups and potential donors. The coordinator brings the volunteers together for monthly brainstorming meetings and to assign projects to the team of volunteers. The chapter's technical volunteers will complete customized assistive devices for individuals with disabilities. Volunteers can also assist with chapter outreach and various administrative duties associated with the chapter
A requirement of this position is a completion of a criminal record check to work with those in the vulnerable sector.

- Distributing promotional material (supplied by head office)
- Marketing Tetra and creating awareness includes in person, online and (using various social media platforms)
- Small event coordination

- Screening, assessing and initiating projects
- Working with head office to identify potential sources of funding
