Job Summary
Loewen Design Studios is a family owned business based in Welland Ontario. We specialize in helping customers across Canada and the US find the right hardwood table to fit their needs. Understanding their needs and working with them to find a solution, be it an existing design, a modification of an existing design or a brand new custom design. We are hiring for the position of Sales Team Member. The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be an excellent listener, and be highly detail oriented and computer literate. While relevant skills including a background in design are an asset, we also value a passion for learning, a commitment to customer happiness and a willingness to try new things.
Duties
- Assist customers in determining their needs and matching them to the right table
- Consult with customers via email, phone, video call
- Accurately record details of what customers want to ensure successful order fulfillment
- Close conversations with customers
- Follow up with leads
- Work alongside sales team in taking care of customers
As a growing company, responsibilities will shift over time with lots of opportunities to learn new things.
Requirements
- Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Education or related design experience would be an asset
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and set priorities
- Desire and ability to learn
- Strong listening skills
- Coachability
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
