Our client is a prominent player in industrial and commercial electrical infrastructure services industry and is looking for a strong salesperson in the GTA. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join their team. This role is a vital component of their growth strategy, focusing on managing client relationships and acting as an outside sales representative within the HVAC sector. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong understanding of HVAC systems and general trade knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales performance.
Responsibilities:
- Client Account Management: Manage and cultivate relationships with existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and maximize long-term business potential.
- Business Development: Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the industrial and commercial HVAC market.
- Client Engagement: Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to understand needs, promote solutions, and act as a key point of contact.
- Proposal Development: Prepare, present, and negotiate competitive quotes and technical proposals aligned with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Sales Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., project coordination, operations) to ensure smooth transitions and successful project execution.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback using CRM tools.
- Technical Consultation: Utilize general knowledge of mechanical systems and construction practices to provide preliminary technical advice to clients.
Requirements:
- Relevant Experience: a minimum of 3 ro 5 years of proven experience in HVAC sales or a related technical trade (e.g., as a Sales Representative or Outside Sales).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical practices, and general construction procedures.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license (Required). Relevant trade licenses or small project management experience (An asset).
- Personal Qualities: Highly self-motivated, results-driven, strong sense of urgency, and excellent time management skills.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client relationships.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
