Harley Davidson Winnipeg seeking a customer-focused Sales Manager to lead our sales team and grow our business. As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing the sales team while driving unit sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role is a key leadership position within the dealership and works closely with Finance, Parts, and Service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Manage daily sales operations, including lead management, deal structure, and closing support
- Monitor and improve sales performance metrics (units, gross profit, conversion rates, CSI)
- Ensure consistent execution of Harley-Davidson brand standards and customer experience expectations
- Work collaboratively with the Finance Manager to maximize deal profitability and compliance
- Maintain inventory levels and aging targets in coordination with management
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching
- Handle customer escalations professionally and ensure timely resolution
- Support marketing initiatives, events, demos, and dealership promotions
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience in powersports, automotive, or retail sales (Harley-Davidson experience is an asset)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Strong closing, negotiation, and customer-relationship skills
- Solid understanding of finance, margins, and dealership KPIs
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Must be available on Saturday's
