The Sales Manager, Canada is responsible for driving revenue growth and leading a high-performing outside Sales Team while fostering strong customer relationships. This role ensures alignment with corporate objectives and delivers profitable results through winning profitable new business, establishing long-term customer agreements, strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and effective team leadership.
All the important tasks we'll trust you with:
- Develop and execute sales strategies in the Canada region to achieve revenue and gross profit targets
- Drive performance and accountability across sales representative agencies to maximize market coverage and revenue growth
- Forecast sales, set quotas, and manage budgets by customer and product line
- Partner with Finance, Product, and Operations to evaluate business cases and monitor performance (EBITDA)
- In collaboration with Product, analyze market trends, competition, and demand to guide pricing and strategy
- Lead, coach, and manage outside Sales Team performance, compensation, and development
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers at head office and field levels
- Oversee promotions and travel budgets in accordance with corporate budgets
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and drive growth
Your areas of strength and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant sales experience in aftermarket (automotive preferred)
- Proven leadership and team development experience
- Strong business acumen, financial and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and integrity
