Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, performance-driven Sales Closer to join our full-time team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing senior-level executives for participation in our premium B2B conventions. This role requires strong closing ability, structured pipeline management, and professional communication with VP-level and C-suite executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify, and qualify senior executives (President, VP Sales/Marketing/Business Development, Director-level and above)
- Conduct outbound calls and strategic email outreach
- Manage the full sales cycle: discovery → pitch → negotiation → closing → handoff
- Meet daily and weekly KPIs with discipline and consistency
- Maintain and update CRM records accurately
- Communicate event value propositions including speaker opportunities, sponsorship benefits, and exhibitor packages
- Handle objections professionally and effectively
- Represent BMA Conventions with professionalism in all client interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of confirmed attendees and sponsors
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7–8 years of professional sales experience (B2B preferred — events, SaaS, healthcare, manufacturing, or professional services)
- Candidates must be Permanent Residents (preferred).
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working within structured sales processes
- CRM proficiency.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior-level executives
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
