Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative / Sales Associate to join our growing painting and coatings team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with residential and commercial clients, understanding their project needs, and helping convert inquiries into awarded painting projects. Your professionalism, communication skills, and proactive approach will play a key role in driving sales and delivering an excellent client experience from first contact to project award.

This is a paid position offering an opportunity to grow your sales career within the construction and painting industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with potential clients professionally, in person, by phone, or via email
  • Meet with customers to review painting needs and explain available services and solutions
  • Conduct site visits and assist with project assessments for residential and commercial painting work
  • Present estimates, scopes of work, and product options clearly and confidently
  • Follow up on leads, quotes, and client inquiries to support sales conversion
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the sales process
  • Support scheduling coordination between clients and the operations team
  • Maintain organized records of leads, quotes, and customer communications
  • Uphold excellent phone and email etiquette when responding to inquiries

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience preferred (construction, painting, or home services experience is an asset)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client trust
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset with a professional and approachable demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple leads
  • Basic math skills for understanding estimates and pricing
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset for growth opportunities
