Overview

We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Sales Associate to join our team and help expand our footprint in the security services sector. This is a high-impact role where your expertise in security protocols and legislation meets your passion for business development.

This position is initially commission-based, offering a high-reward structure for a hunter-style salesperson. As you build your portfolio and demonstrate consistent growth, there will be opportunities to transition into a permanent salary plus commission structure.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage potential clients (commercial, industrial, or residential) requiring professional security solutions.
• Conduct site assessments and risk analysis to recommend tailored security packages, including guarding, mobile patrols, or specialized monitoring.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial cold call to closing the contract, ensuring all agreements align with provincial regulations.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and provide ongoing support to existing clients to ensure long-term retention.
• Stay updated on security industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in relevant legislation (such as the PSISA or Criminal Code) to provide expert advice.

Skills

• A solid understanding of security services is mandatory. You must be able to speak confidently about security operations, risk mitigation, and compliance.
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must be comfortable presenting to business owners and corporate executives.
• As a commission-based role, you must be highly disciplined, organized, and capable of managing your own schedule and lead tracking.
• Familiarity with the Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA) and the Trespass to Property Act is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.59 per hour
